La Tienda seeks to provide a fair trade opportunity to women carrying the burden of poverty in the Dominican Republic, the women make beautiful handmade items to sell in order to provide for their families. 

We love the ladies of La Tienda and we love the earth too, so whenever possible natural, found or recycled items are part of their creations, and when we can, we make sure to put it all in a biodegradable bag.
